Rule No. 1 Be different – be yourself.
This is the essence of DIS philosophy, the first rule to abide by - the expression of ourselves, without fear and without worry, without tagging along and following the crowd, because our individual diversity is the richness that makes us all really unique.
It is important to feel unique even when choosing our clothes and accessories, because they can make all the difference between standing out or being unnoticed.
This closed-end bottom sole, made in thin leather without welt and trimmed tightly to the edge has been especially made to enhance the last. The laser inscription at the bottom is just the cherry on top.
VERDI - Oxford plain vamp
is dedicated to Giuseppe Verdi (1813 – 1901) - Parma
Despite his humble social status as a young man, he succeeded in fulfilling his vocation as a composer thanks to his goodwill and proven desire to learn. His career as a composer seemed to be definitively over when tragedy struck: his wife and three children died in quick succession, leaving him devastated. But the Scala impresario Merelli urged him not give up on music, and presented him with a libretto to put to music: Nabucco. Verdi, still shaken by the family tragedy, put it aside without even reading it. However one evening, while moving the book, it fell to the ground and by chance laid open at the page of “Va, pensiero”. When Verdi read the text of the famous passage he was deeply moved... He went to bed but was unable to sleep. He got up, reread the text several times and and eventually created, and once “va, pensiero” was set decided to read and set all the booklet. On 9th march 1842 the opera went on stage at Teatro della Scala” and the success was triumphant.
