Dynamic and super light, also fits perfectly office and formal shoes.
VOLTA - Full brogue Derby
is dedicated to Alessandro Volta (1745 – 1827) - Como
He was an Italian physicist, best known for inventing the first ever electric generator, the battery, and for discovering methane. In 1792 he began extensive investigations into "animal electricity", the most modern theory on which came from Luigi Galvani, leading Volta himself to give it the name of galvanism.
However it was disagreement with Galvani that led to his 1800 development of the so-called "voltaic battery", a forerunner of the electric battery, which produced a steady electric current. All the technology we use today is powered by electric current; without Alessandro Volta's insights, the world would be very different from how we know it today.
He embodies a versatile full brogue derby, the perfect compromise between formal and informal, tempering classic shoes seriousness. In fact it can be worn even under rolled up jeans.
Alessandro takes us for a stroll among Como's streets, cities where he is born and has lived in.
